About the Role

ADMR is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Home Care Assistant and/or Companion. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and contribute to the well-being of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare meals and snacks, and assist with household chores.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and outings, and provide transportation as needed.
  • Engage in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation, such as reading, puzzles, and games.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in care work or a related field an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
