Job Description

1. Speakers Management

  • Coordinate speakers prior to their participation in events organized by the Women's Forum: Identify suitable panelists, send invitations, and follow up with panelists; Coordinate speakers' travel and accommodations; Support in organizing briefing calls and participation in calls; Assist speakers throughout the program lifecycle (online registration, coordination of speaker registration link, dissemination of practical information, online networking features, coordination of badges for speakers, feedbacks, etc.).
  • Manage and coordinate speakers during events.
  • Send thank you letters to all speakers after events.

2. Communication

  • Support the content/programming team in creating and implementing event programs and sessions before and during the event.
  • Liaise with the Women's Forum communication and partnerships teams to promote programs and speakers.

3. Competitive Intelligence

  • The Event Project and Speakers Coordinator should have an interest in gender and international relations issues and be motivated to raise awareness of these issues.

Qualifications

Skills Initiated, to be Developed During the Internship

  • Project management;
  • Logistic related to the organization of events;
  • Management of service providers and budgets.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Excellent editorial and writing skills in English and French, as our writings will be read and contribute to the image of the Women's Forum. This is also essential for preparing events in an international context.
  • Strong interest in gender and international relations issues and motivation to raise awareness on these issues among others.
