We are seeking a dedicated and passionate 1st Grade Teacher to join our team at Bethune Elementary School. As a member of our staff, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students and contributing to their growth and development.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed about student progress.
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
- Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Teaching Certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and supportive school environment, with access to modern facilities and resources. The position is a 190-day work calendar, with a minimum of 36 hours and 40 minutes per week.
