Marketing Strategist for Luxury Beauty Division

Dolce&Gabbana, a renowned luxury fashion house, is seeking an experienced Marketing Strategist to join its newly created in-house Beauty Division. Based in Paris, this role will provide an exceptional opportunity for the successful candidate to drive brand growth and elevate the company's presence in the UKI, Portugal & Africa market.

The Marketing Strategist will closely collaborate with the Area Manager UKI, Portugal & Africa and report directly to the Head of France, UKI, Portugal & Africa. This individual will also work closely with EMEA Teams based in Milan, including E-Commerce, Trade Marketing, Merchandising, Training, Media/Influence/PR, and the EMEA Marketing Director. Additionally, they will collaborate with Distributor Teams, ensuring alignment with local market requirements.

The primary objective of this role is to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that increases brand rankings and market share while elevating the Dolce&Gabbana brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a 360-degree marketing strategy, aligning with the company's global vision and brand DNA.
  • Ensure trade marketing plans are tailored to meet EMEA priorities and local market specificities, while maintaining sales objectives and agreed A&P spending.
  • Align product priorities with sales expectations and forecasts, optimizing portfolio strategy.
  • SUPPORT DISTRIBUTION STRATEGY: Collaborate with the Area Manager on door opening/closing exercises from a qualitative and competitive perspective.
  • Optimize investment strategies by allocating A&Ps effectively across lines and accounts.
  • Lead permanent and non-permanent merchandising projects, collaborating with EMEA teams to ensure timely and flawless executions.
  • C Coordinate Digital Marketing efforts to maintain offline/online plan coherence and ensure excellent brand execution on retailers' dot com and e-com pure players.
  • Coordinate communications initiatives, working closely with internal stakeholders on PR/ePR, Influencer Marketing, and Media Plans.
  • Coordinate training programs, collaborating with internal Training and Retail Excellence teams to ensure local training strategies are respected.
  • Produce rigorous reporting and drive learnings from key conclusions.

Key Requirements/Skills:

  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a similar marketing role
  • Fluent/Native English and French B2+
  • Previous management of makeup considered a plus
  • Excellent project management skills, including accuracy and timeliness
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness
  • Entrepreneurial attitude
  • Excellent relational skills
