Electrical Engineering Expert

ENGIE Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Specialist to join our Renewables Global Business Unit (R-GBU). As a key member of our Engineering Department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design and development of renewable power plants across France and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Engineering Department in all electrical design activities related to renewable power plants, including solar, wind, and hydroelectric projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement electrical design solutions that meet grid connection requirements and ensure compliance with Engie's global QHSE standards.
- Perform network calculation studies and substation designs to optimize power plant performance and ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Develop and maintain technical guidelines and documentation, including specifications and procedures, to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
- Act as a technical expert in the field of PV electrical engineering, participating in joint technical meetings, reviews, and work groups within the ENGIE group.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in renewable energy and power systems.
- Proven knowledge of solar PV, wind, and hydroelectric technologies, as well as experience with network calculation studies and substation designs.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong technical aptitude, with a focus on delivering high-quality work products under changing priorities and deadlines.
