About the Role
As a Technical Account Manager at AWS EMEA SARL (France Branch) - G48, you will play a key role in helping our Enterprise Support customers gain the most value from cloud technology.
We are seeking an experienced Technical Account Manager to partner with some of the most iconic businesses in the country, ranging from rising startups to large enterprises undergoing significant transformation. Your primary responsibility will be to craft and execute strategies that drive our customers' adoption and use of AWS services.
Your close relationships with customers will enable you to understand their business needs and technical challenges, allowing you to help them achieve the greatest value from AWS. You will work closely with a range of partners, including developers, C-suite executives, AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers.
You will be responsible for building solutions, providing technical guidance, and advocating for the customer. Ensuring AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity will also be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will develop trusting relationships with customers, understand their business needs and technical challenges, and using your technical acumen and customer obsession, drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a similar role as a Technical Account Manager, Consultant, Solutions Architect, Platform Engineer, Systems Engineer, or Cloud Architect. They should possess a deep understanding of operational parameters and troubleshooting for a combination of Compute, Storage, Networking, CDN, Databases, DevOps, Big Data and Analytics, Security, and Applications Development.
A strong internal enterprise or external customer-facing experience with the ability to clearly articulate to small and large audiences is essential. Proficiency in English and French languages is required.

What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary between €65,000 - €90,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as flexible working hours, work-life balance, inclusive team culture, mentorship, and career growth opportunities.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS include 3 + years experience in a similar role, understanding operational parameters and troubleshooting for a combination of the following: Compute, Storage, Networking, CDN, Databases, DevOps, Big Data and Analytics, Security, Applications Development, internal enterprise or external customer-facing experience with the ability to clearly articulate to small and large audiences, English and French Speaking Language Required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS include professional experience with cloud offerings such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform etc., programming or scripting skills in Java, Python, PowerShell, Perl, Ruby, C#, or PHP a plus but not a requirement, previous experience as a Software Engineer, Operations Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Developer, DevOps Engineer etc., understanding of DevOps practices and tools including Continuous Integration / Deployment, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes, Chef is a plus.
