Job Description:
As a Technical Lead for Observability and Performance, you will be responsible for making technical decisions and providing a technological vision for your assigned area. Your technical expertise and mentoring abilities will make you a mentor and coach for the team, allowing for skill development and enhancement, thereby ensuring the team's service quality.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to constructing the product and service roadmap with the manager/PO.
- Gather requirements, arbitrate, and propose technical solutions to stakeholders.
- Estimate workload and budget for new functionalities.
- Ensure the technical architecture of observability solutions in collaboration with the team, following recommendations.
- Guide, deliver, and enforce best practices (automation, code review, etc.) among team members.
- Facilitate skill development among team members through mentoring.
- Identify and remove technical impediments.
- Continuously suggest improvements for technical solutions.
- Keep updated on technological advancements and leverage opportunities for technical stack evolution.
Team Mission:
Agile management of team activities (3 observability engineers) located in France and Bangkok, ensuring adherence to best practices regarding observability, suggesting tools and practices evolution, and leading observability strategy implementation, maintaining operational platforms Splunk & Dynatrace (on-premise and cloud), providing user support and communicating best practices, assisting projects in integrating their data/applications, ensuring implementation of PCIDSS compliance rules, and interfacing observability tools with group tools.
Qualifications:
- Graduated from an engineering school or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of experience, including 5 years as an observability engineer or tech lead.
- Mastery of observability tools.
- Proficient in Linux system (on-premise platform management) for On-Premise environments.
- Agile methodologies.
- Fluent in English.
