About the Role

Vestas is a leading international company in the wind energy industry, committed to environmental responsibility. We are seeking a skilled Blades Technician to join our team in the MED region, specifically in the Service department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain blade maintenance processes, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Inspect and assess blade operational levels, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including hours tracking, working conditions, and operational reporting.
  • Adhere to safety rules and quality procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct on-site repairs, utilizing technical expertise and internal maintenance procedures.

Requirements

  • BTEC Higher National Diploma, BTS/DUT industrial or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering certification.
  • First professional experience as a composite material technician and/or wind turbine maintenance technician.
  • Proficiency in technical English (written/spoken) and familiarity with Office Pack.

Competencies

  • Experience working with composite materials.
  • Wind turbine maintenance experience as a Service or Construction technician in Vestas or non-Vestas turbines.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
  • Technical English proficiency.
  • Comfort working remotely in a turbine environment with limited supervisory interaction.
