Vestas, a global leader in the wind energy industry, is seeking a skilled Blade Maintenance Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

As a Blade Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring blade maintenance processes, inspecting and assessing the operational level of blades, and performing administrative tasks related to hours, working conditions, and operational reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain blade maintenance processes to ensure optimal performance
  • Inspect and assess blades to identify areas for improvement
  • Perform administrative tasks related to hours, working conditions, and operational reporting
  • Act in accordance with safety rules and quality procedures to ensure service level agreements and compliance with regulatory procedures
  • Perform on-site repairs with technical expertise and internal maintenance procedures

Requirements

  • BTEC Higher National Diploma, BTS/DUT industrial or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering certified by the BZEE certification if possible
  • First professional experience as a composite material technician and/or wind turbines maintenance technician
  • Knowledge of technical English (written/spoken) and familiarity with the Office Pack
