Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an Educateur de Jeunes Enfants, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
Key Responsibilities
- Childcare and Education
- Develop and implement engaging and interactive educational programs for children aged 0-3 years
- Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective childcare service
- Team Leadership
- Supervise and support a team of childcare professionals
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures for childcare services
- Participate in staff training and professional development
- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless service
- Participate in meetings and contribute to decision-making processes
Requirements
- Diplôme d'État d'Éducateur de Jeunes Enfants or equivalent qualification
- Experience working with young children, preferably in a childcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
