Saft, a leading provider of high-tech battery solutions, is seeking an experienced Business Service Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for generating new solutions and proposals for long-term service contracts.
Key Responsibilities- Develop Service Offerings: Create and present OPEX cost and margin proposals for new projects, ensuring alignment with customer needs and company goals.
- Negotiate Service Contracts: Lead the negotiation of O&M service contracts with customers, ensuring clear understanding of requirements and expectations.
- Implement Maintenance Solutions: Develop and implement new maintenance solutions and services to improve customer support and profitability, including reducing maintenance expenses and improving service contract margins.
- Monitor Spare Parts Consumption: Support the monitoring of spare parts consumption, warranty management, inventory forecasting, and optimization of the spare parts pool.
- Lead Cross-Functional Initiatives: Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and Field Intervention teams to develop new or existing service offerings, considering feedback from the field.
- Support Digital Solutions: Provide support for the development of processes and methods for the implementation of digital solutions, remote monitoring, and diagnostics, as well as a 24/7 hotline for efficient management of long-term O&M contracts.
- Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Foster strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Support a Strong Safety Culture: Promote and support a culture of safety within the team, ensuring all members understand and can support this critical aspect of our business.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering)
- At least 10 years of experience in writing business proposals
- Strong ability to work under pressure, manage multiple topics and offers simultaneously, and meet deadlines
- Fluency in English (read, written, and spoken)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, especially with customers and suppliers
- High level of autonomy and ability to work independently
- Experience in ESS project management for EPC contract execution and service contract execution is an asset
