Role Overview

This is a permanent position reporting to the Head of Platforms.

Technology & Digital Solutions (T&DS)

Authorized by the Mazars Global Executive Board, the Technology & Digital Solutions team is spearheading Mazars' digital transformation to unlock the next phase of growth. This transformation aims to facilitate smoother collaboration across regions and deliver scalable service offerings to clients in a secure, modern, and sustainable manner. Consequently, Mazarians will experience a seamless workflow and provide enhanced value to clients daily.

To achieve these objectives, the Technology & Digital Solutions transformation program seeks to consolidate IT operations from a multi-local model across 99+ countries into a unified global framework. This encompasses the design of infrastructure and operating models necessary to support Mazars' business, personnel, and clients now and in the future.

DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities, Qualifications, and Skills

We are in search of a DevOps Engineer to install, maintain, document, upgrade, and optimize cloud and hybrid infrastructures while ensuring the reliability, security, and availability of the platform, in close collaboration with the entire Global IT program team.

Key Responsibilities

Build

  • Oversee the deployment of solutions, including both applications and infrastructure, through hands-on delivery or with third-party assistance.
  • Ensure that new solution deployments adhere to Global IT Enterprise Architectural standards.
  • Facilitate the transition of solutions to relevant service management teams by preparing appropriate documentation and providing necessary training.
  • Conceptualize, design, develop, deploy, and enhance CI and CD systems for our cloud applications.
  • Write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using industry-standard tools and services.
  • Develop application deployment automation using recognized deployment and configuration tools.

Run

  • Provide support and daily administration for deployed solutions.
  • Manage incident resolution activities related to global solutions and coordinate with third-party support partners until resolution.
  • Monitor deployed solutions to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage patching, upgrades, and service packs for computing components.
  • Maintain relevant documentation throughout the lifecycle of solutions, ensuring it remains current.
Qualifications
  • Fluent in English and at least one other European language (French, Dutch, Spanish, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of IT best practices and design patterns.
  • Excellent knowledge of (hybrid) cloud concepts and technologies, preferably with Azure and Microsoft technologies. Familiarity with governance, monitoring, IAM, storage, serverless infrastructure, and container concepts is essential.
  • Proficient in building CI/CD pipelines, with substantial experience in continuous delivery processes, version management, and automation.
  • Knowledge of Bicep is a plus.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and quick adaptability to new technologies, with a keen attention to detail.
  • A strong desire to enhance skills and embrace new challenges.

Preferred Certifications

  • AZ-104, AZ-900 preferred.
  • AZ-400 highly desired.
