Financial Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our Amazon Logistics Operations Finance team in Europe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing finance-related activities, implementing standardized controllership, reporting, and planning processes for the fixed cost of Delivery Stations across all EU countries.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and mitigate basic control risks, evaluating their impact and proposing changes to remediate gaps.
- Deliver weekly and monthly financial close, utilizing financial systems and advanced MSExcel functions to work with large data sets, producing plans, forecasts, budgets, and consolidations.
- Collaborate with various data sources, identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, root causes of data issues, and escalating discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.
- Communicate complex finance issues clearly, using active listening skills to articulate data in a concise and unambiguous manner, adjusting style for various audiences.
- Identify and implement solutions to resolve, improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance processes, making thoughtful time management decisions independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large data sets and identify trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex finance issues clearly.
- Experience with financial systems and advanced MSExcel functions, with the ability to deliver financial close and produce plans, forecasts, budgets, and consolidations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing work, resolving issues, meeting deadlines, and seeking feedback from your manager.
