We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Director for Luxury Travel to join our team at Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for selling guest rooms and Hyatt services to transient market customers through corporate accounts, travel agencies, individual travel, and wholesale groups.
Key Responsibilities- Sales and Account Management: Manage current accounts and ensure proper solicitation of all transient markets.
- Proposal and Presentation Development: Prepare and present effective proposals and presentations to clients.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain well-organized documentation and reports to track sales performance and customer interactions.
- Technology and Customer Service: Utilize Hyatt technology systems and coordinate customer service requirements with hotel operations staff.
- Event Meetings and Sales: Participate in and lead event meetings, sales, and other staff meetings to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Business Acumen: A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of key accounts and agencies within the luxury travel segment.
- Communication Skills: Refined verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated success in business travel or leisure sales.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in general computer knowledge, hotelligence, rfp express, lanyon, and salesforce.com.
- Training and Development: Prefer completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training.
- Community Involvement: Community involvement and/or professional association is highly regarded.
- Competitive Salary: A salary range of $95,000 - $105,000.
- Incentive Compensation: Eligibility for our incentive compensation SIP program.
