Senior IT Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Operations Manager to lead our IT function. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for strategically shaping our IT landscape, ensuring operational efficiency, and data security.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the organization's goals.
- Establish, document, and maintain clear IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Oversee the selection, testing, and integration of new IT systems/applications.
- Ensure data security and compliance through robust security measures and regular system audits.
- Build and lead a high-performing IT team as the function expands.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate IT-related risks.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Create and maintain a technology roadmap outlining future IT investments and initiatives.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for IT operations and regularly report on progress to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in setting up and enhancing IT processes and operations, with a strong understanding of ITIL frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute IT strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Experience in developing, implementing, and enforcing clear IT policies and procedures.
- Previous experience in a similar role, leading an IT function from its early stages.
Please note that our Engineering team works in the CET timezone, so candidates will need to reside in countries with the same time zone or similar to it and will need to already have permit to work in the country where they are based.
