About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at Maersk. As a key member of our payroll organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of payroll services to our employees across the globe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage pre-payroll, on-cycle payroll, and off-cycle payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate payment of employee salaries.
  • Extract and provide T&A data to payroll providers, validate payroll results, and obtain approvals for final pay credits.
  • Ensure compliance with social insurance tax regulations and manage advance payments.
  • Track vendor deliverables and identify, report, mitigate, and track risks in the payroll delivery process.
  • Support the Payroll team lead in providing necessary data and clarifications to audit questions.
Requirements
  • Solid hands-on experience in managing payroll, time, and attendance processes in a complex international organization.
  • Knowledge of compliance and legal regulations for payroll and benefits.
  • Ability to effectively engage and mobilize diverse local HR stakeholders.
  • Proactive attitude, flexibility, and adaptability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative working style and fluency in English and French.
