Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our team at D2M SERVICES. As a key member of our Technical Assistance expertise, you will provide critical support and assistance in the area of Dynamic Positioning (DP) assurance for offshore marine operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze DP documentation and standards against Company rules and regulations.
  • Develop and implement recommendations for corrective actions and improvements.
  • Provide technical support and arguments for projects to have marine contractors implement recommendations.
  • Conduct technical analysis and issue recommendations for contractor selection.
  • Offer ad-hoc marine advice and consultancy as required.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as Master or Chief Engineer on a DP offshore support vessel/asset.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Hold or have held Merchant Marine Master or Chief Engineer certification (unlimited tonnage/power).
  • Hold or have held OVID accreditation (advantageous).
  • Minimum 5 years of shore-based experience in a leading marine consultancy company with a proven track record of leading DP proving trials on complex vessels.
