Your Role: Construction Economics Manager

As the Construction Economics Manager, you will lead a team of three talented professionals within our dedicated Construction Economy department. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our service offerings and driving success across a diverse portfolio of projects in both the private and public sectors, encompassing construction and rehabilitation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development:
    • Identify and cultivate relationships with external and internal clients to promote our team's specialized services.
    • Develop compelling proposals for Economy/Descriptive missions, showcasing the value we bring to clients.
    • Expand our service portfolio by exploring new opportunities, particularly in areas such as RE2020 Carbon module expertise or execution monitoring.
  • Team Management:
    • Lead and inspire team meetings, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
    • Effectively assign workloads among team members, ensuring optimal utilization of skills and resources.
    • Maintain high standards of quality and ensure timely delivery of projects, exceeding client expectations.
  • Experienced Construction Economist:
    • Provide expert support in technical and economic missions for project owners, encompassing cost estimates during programming, feasibility studies, and competitive bidding processes.
    • Collaborate seamlessly within project management teams:
      • Prepare detailed architectural and construction lot descriptions across various study phases.
      • Develop accurate quantity and cost estimates for all project stages.
      • Contribute to the construction phase by preparing comprehensive tender reports for project owners.
    • Manage internal estimation and cost control tools, ensuring their accuracy and efficiency.
    • Actively participate in organizing and updating internal databases, maintaining a centralized repository of valuable information.

Qualifications:

We seek a highly motivated and experienced Construction Economics professional with:

  • A minimum of a Bac+2 degree with a specialization in construction economics.
  • At least 8 years of proven experience in similar projects, demonstrating a strong track record of success.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, enabling you to effectively guide and motivate your team.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work seamlessly within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in English language.
  • Familiarity with ATTIC+ software is preferred.
