About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Coordination Specialist to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our railway projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to Region throughout the Tender process, focusing on construction methodology and scheduling.
- Develop a suitable sequence of works and tender methodology, ensuring seamless transfer into tender project schedules.
- Assist Bid planning managers in preparing first-time chainage estimates for main activities.
- Coordinate with product lines to perform estimations with homogenous and validated assumptions.
- Collaborate with construction partners and stakeholders to ensure smooth phasing and coordination.
- Support the narrative explanation of schedules from a technical perspective.
As Project Support:
- Provide early-stage mobilization support to Region, focusing on construction staging, sequencing, and phasing.
- Monitor construction activities and ensure compliance with project schedules.
- Perform peer reviews with OPC teams to evaluate construction maturity and identify areas for improvement.
Performance Metrics:
- Ensure on-time delivery of bid schedules and associated method statements.
- Monitor and address construction requirements, including site facilities definition and workload support.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in construction coordination on railway projects.
- Strong knowledge of railway systems, projects, and technologies.
- Proficiency in scheduling methods and tools, including Time Chainage and GANTT.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage conflicts and prioritize tasks effectively.
