Post-doc in Industrial and Systems Engineering for Modeling and Evaluation of Industrial Processes

Mines Saint-Étienne is seeking a Post-doc in Industrial and Systems Engineering for Modeling and Evaluation of Industrial Processes. The successful candidate will be part of the Institut Henri Fayol and will work on the NAIMAN project, which aims to create normative regulation mechanisms for governing manufacturing systems to operate trustworthy and sustainably.
The post-doc position is focused on evaluating the capability of various process modeling approaches to represent manufacturing systems, defining a set of principles for modeling them taking into account trustworthiness, sustainability, flexibility, and resilience requirements, and identifying legal and industrial regulations, best practices, and standards related to trustworthiness and sustainability applicable to the Industry of the Future.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering or equivalent, with significant experience in industrial process modeling. The ideal candidate will have a good level of English, oral and written, and will be able to work in a team environment.
