MINES Saint-Étienne is seeking a highly motivated Post-doc in Industrial and Systems Engineering for Modeling and Evaluation of Industrial Processes to join our team.
About the JobWe are looking for a talented researcher to work on the ANR NAIMAN project, which aims to develop a set of design principles for governing manufacturing systems to operate trustworthy and sustainably. The successful candidate will be responsible for modeling and evaluating industrial processes, as well as developing self-adjusting regulation mechanisms to enable humans to oversee the system's operation and decision-making process.
About the TeamOur team is part of the Laboratory of Computer Science, Systems Modelling and Optimization (LIMOS), a Mixed Research Unit (UMR 6158) in computer science and Science and Information and Communication Technologies (STIC). Responsibilities- Model and evaluate industrial processes to develop a set of design principles for governing manufacturing systems
- Develop self-adjusting regulation mechanisms to enable humans to oversee the system's operation and decision-making process
- Disseminate research findings in conferences and journal papers
- PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering or equivalent
- Good level of English, oral and written
- Junior accepted

- Significant contract research activity (€11m/year in Research and Innovation contracts), mainly with industrial partners
