About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Roaming Engineer to join our team at Transatel. As a key member of our Roaming team, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation and execution of our roaming agreements with international mobile operators.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact and collaborate with partner operator teams to ensure seamless technical implementation of roaming agreements.
- Organize and conduct implementation and validation tests to ensure high-quality results.
- Communicate technical settings and requirements to internal Transatel teams.
- Provide technical support to internal support teams regarding roaming-related issues.
- Develop and maintain roaming agreement technical references.
Requirements
- Master's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field, with significant experience in roaming.
- Advanced proficiency in GSMA mobile network roaming processes, including IRA, IREG, TADIG, and protocol exchange functions.
- Mastery of mobile network architectures, including GSM, UMTS, CDMA, and LTE.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse audiences.
- Rigorous and reliable, with a strong focus on quality and process improvement.
- Proactive, curious, and self-motivated, with a strong capacity for learning and self-training.
Language Requirements
English fluency is essential for this role.
