Position Overview:

At Grant Thornton, we prioritize proximity to local regions by fostering the growth of sector-specific expertise in the Public Sector. Our teams assist local authorities and their associated public entities across several critical areas:

  • Formulating policies and strategic action plans
  • Enhancing and streamlining operational processes
  • Guaranteeing adherence to public regulations
  • Assessing the effectiveness of policies and initiatives

Your responsibilities within the Rennes team may encompass financial advisory and performance enhancement projects, including:

  • Crafting financial and taxation strategies for local authorities
  • Maximizing tax revenues and government grants
  • Supporting the adaptation of operational scopes
  • Conducting audits for public sector entities

Moreover, you will play a key role in preparing commercial proposals, an essential phase prior to project initiation.

Candidate Profile:

We seek individuals holding a Bac+5 degree in Political Science, a Master's degree, or a business school qualification with a focus on public finance, especially at the local level. A minimum of 3 years of experience in consulting or within a local authority is required. If you are passionate about public service, eager to engage in local government reforms, possess strong communication and writing abilities, and enjoy commercial development with an emphasis on methodologies and tools, this opportunity is ideal for you.
