Sales Operations Manager (Vietnamese Nationality Candidate)

ROLE OVERVIEW

Strategic Leadership

  1. Formulates, executes, and assesses the hotel's Sales Strategy to surpass anticipated revenue targets across all revenue-generating sectors.
  2. Aligns Sales initiatives with the overarching Corporate Marketing Strategy.
  3. Facilitates regular departmental meetings to ensure clear communication.
  4. Reviews sales documentation and systems to confirm adherence to booking protocols.

Client Engagement

  1. Delivers outstanding service to guests and collaborates effectively with internal teams to foster positive relationships.
  2. Addresses guest and internal inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring satisfactory resolutions.
  3. Aids in the formulation of the Annual Business Plan.
  4. Analyzes business performance strategically to enable precise forecasting, engaging relevant department heads as necessary.
  5. Proactively manages sales resources and budgets while monitoring departmental expenditures.
  6. Ensures compliance with all hotel, corporate, and local regulations regarding financial documentation and money management.

Marketing Strategy

  1. Oversees the hotel's sales brand relationships, ensuring the brand's positioning and concept are upheld as outlined in the Annual Business Plan.
  2. Assists in crafting, utilizing, and revising an Annual Sales Plan, tailored by division or department as needed.
  3. Continuously assesses local, national, and international market trends, along with competitor sales strategies, to maintain a competitive edge.
  4. Manages key sales accounts and groups, evaluating them through sales account analysis and devising pricing and resource allocation strategies.
  5. Actively engages in weekly revenue and monthly strategic meetings, refining sales and pricing strategies as needed.
  6. Remains informed about community, business, political, and social factors that could impact the hotel's financial outcomes.

Operational Management

  1. Directs and coordinates all sales activities, ensuring effective communication throughout the hotel.
  2. Collaborates with the Director of Sales & Marketing to assess the effectiveness of sales initiatives and adjust strategies to meet or exceed objectives set in the Annual Marketing Plan.
  3. Guarantees that all sales proposals, marketing materials, and digital communications align with the hotel's brand standards and are current.
  4. Represents the hotel at significant travel, trade, and corporate events to network and promote our offerings.
  5. Plans and executes sales trips based on business priorities.
  6. Works collaboratively with other Department Heads to ensure the overall success of the hotel and guest satisfaction.

Team Development

  1. Oversees the recruitment and selection process for all Sales associates.
  2. Conducts annual Performance Development Discussions, supporting associates in achieving their professional development objectives.
  3. Designs and implements effective training programs, including mandatory customer service courses, in partnership with the Learning Manager and Departmental Trainers.
  4. Enhances the capabilities of each Sales associate through tailored training, coaching, and mentoring.
  5. Ensures compliance with all hotel, corporate, and local regulations regarding safety and security.
  6. Provides insights from the Associate Experience Survey and ensures relevant changes are enacted.

Additional Responsibilities

  1. Maintains knowledge of statutory legislation regarding employee and industrial relations.
  2. Adheres strictly to the Rules and Regulations outlined in the Associate Handbook and hotel policies concerning safety and hygiene.
  3. Adapts to changes in the Sales & Marketing landscape as dictated by industry trends and company directives.
  4. Participates in training sessions and meetings as required.
  5. Performs any other reasonable duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  1. Experience in event management, planning, or directing.
  2. Background in luxury hotels or international hotel chains.
  3. A diploma in hospitality management or a related field.
  4. Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and coordination skills.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  7. Comprehensive knowledge of Event and Project management.
