About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team at Waters Corporation. As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our European GAAP Accounting Center of Excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement European GAAP accounting processes and procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless and timely information flow.
  • Drive harmonization of European accounting processes and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain efficient GAAP to STAT processes for Europe.

Qualifications

  • A university degree in Accounting or Business Studies or equivalent.
  • Professional experience in a BIG 10 Audit Firm or equivalent role.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and international accounting rules.
  • International and diverse environment experience.
  • Work experience in a matrix organization with internal controls.
  • MS Office Package, excellent Excel skills.
  • SAP and Blackline experience is an advantage.

Travel

  • A valid passport is required.
  • This position requires occasional travel abroad for activities such as meetings and training.
