Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, production, and management of project timelines, both internally and externally.
- Coordinate work packages to align with schedules, monitor progress against timelines, and manage resource allocation, including sub-contractor coordination.
- Review and authorize sub-contractor schedules.
- Engage with stakeholders to identify and communicate progress, changes, risks, and opportunities.
- Contribute to proposals regarding manhour estimates and planning strategies.
- Generate clear and precise reports on project metrics, including critical path analysis for the Defence Infrastructure Lead Team.
Required Skills and Attributes:
- Intermediate proficiency in Primavera P6 (essential)
- Strong command of MS Office, particularly Excel and Project
- Self-driven with the ability to meet deadlines independently
- Effective communicator capable of delivering concise and accurate updates on project status, risks to the critical path, and metrics
- Confidently engage with sub-contractors and critically assess the accuracy of their submissions
- Meticulous attention to detail
Experience Requirements:
- Proven experience as a project planner on NEC4 Contracts is essential (especially Option A and Option C)
- Background in major infrastructure design and construction projects is highly desirable
- Experience in the Nuclear or Defence sectors is highly advantageous
- Degree preferred or equivalent qualification
- Training in Primavera P6
- Project Management certification (e.g., APM) is beneficial

Due to the nature of the work involved, applicants must meet specific residency criteria to achieve a minimum level of UK security clearance if not already cleared to at least SC level.
