Senior Automation Technician

Position: Automation and Industrial IT Technician

Reporting to the A2I Manager (Automation and Industrial IT) for the East Region, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of automation systems.

Maintenance and Operational Support - A2I domain:

• Rectify programming issues following system malfunctions or provide temporary solutions
• Adjust programs in response to process changes
• Update software and/or firmware to address security vulnerabilities
• Modify communication links as necessary
• Assist A2I Agencies in executing level 1 Maintenance in Operational Conditions tasks
• Maintain up-to-date inventory, documentation, and backups, while tracking actions using the A2ITOOLS tool

Project Execution / A2I domain tasks:

• Conduct preliminary studies and formalize functional analyses in close collaboration with operators
• Program automation systems, install, and configure communication devices
• Oversee commissioning processes
• Engage in supervisory programming (notably Topkapi) and configure databases (AQUACALC)

Responsibilities:

• Manage various components of assigned projects (schedule, deadlines, budget, etc.)
• Adopt a continuous improvement approach
• Document actions in the A2ITTOOLS inventory

You will also be responsible for on-call duties as per the established schedule.

Your Qualifications:

A degree in Automation/Industrial IT/Regulation with a BAC+2/3 level of education and prior experience in a similar role is required.

Desired Skills:
- Expertise in programming automation systems (Schneider and SIEMENS Range)
- Proficiency in programming teletransmitters (SOFREL and PERAX, INJINUS Range, etc.)
- Familiarity with supervisory tools (Home/machine Interface, TOPKAPI Supervision, PCWIM)
- Competence in configuring communication and network equipment (Industrial networks, IP communication systems, 3G/4G, GSM Radio, RTC, routers, switches, etc.)
- Understanding of electrical installations
- Knowledge of safety regulations

A valid driver's license is mandatory.
