Join AXA's Financial Controlling Team

As part of the Group Financial Controlling Department, which comprises 180 professionals, you will be integrated into a dedicated finance team focused on accounting and reporting. This team, consisting of 50 members, operates under the direction of the Central Holdings Director.

The current opportunity is within the Accounting Management of Central Holdings team, a specialized group of 7 individuals responsible for overseeing the financial statements of the parent company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate accounting of AXA Holdings' financial transactions and validate monthly financial charges.
  • Manage P&L movements associated with AXA Holdings' operations, including dividends, sales, and redemptions.
  • Analyze foreign currency impacts related to financial operations and provide insights into calculations within SAP/Arpson.
  • Oversee the recording of debts, shares, and derivatives accounting impacts.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations, particularly for multi-currency accounts.
  • Supervise reconciliations of securities accounts.
  • Address auditors' requests regarding bank circularization in collaboration with the Finance Department.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure that derivative hedging documentation aligns with the economic vision of the finance team.
  • Guarantee that records in accounting systems are consistent with this documentation.
  • Monitor daily movements related to derivatives and assess their accounting implications.

Continuous Improvement:

Contribute to the enhancement of information control processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bac +3/5 degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting.
  • Strong foundation in accounting and tax principles.
  • Proficient in general accounting and tax techniques.
  • Fluent in professional English for communication with international contacts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
