Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled ROV Technician to join our team at DeepOcean. As a key member of our ROV Maintenance Services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of our Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) and maintaining a high level of technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Anticipate, plan, and carry out maintenance visits on ROV fleet devices to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Provide technical support on field (onshore or offshore) to our ROV teams, responding to technical queries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Utilize manufacturer manuals and contact suppliers as needed to resolve technical issues and maintain system records.
- Prepare technical intervention sheets and reports to document maintenance activities and identify areas for improvement.
- Seek feedback from the field on ROV daily use and concerns to continuously improve our services.
- Assist with technical tenders and develop working relationships with all staff and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Carry out internal system audits (IMCA R006) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company safety policies.
- Develop and maintain a working relationship with all project clients to ensure their technical needs are met.
- At all times, comply with regulatory requirements and company safety policies.
Key Performance Indicators
- Maintain good relationships and availability to ROV teams to assist with technical queries and respond to requests in a timely manner.
- Ensure prompt closure of technical issues and maintain system records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers and ROV manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and technical support.
- Maintain system records and ensure good technical knowledge of the fleet ROV.

Education, Qualifications, and Experience
- Engineering schooling and relevant technical qualifications.
- Excellent written and spoken English and French language skills.
- Appropriate electrical/mechanical qualification and experience in the ROV industry.
