ROV Mobile Technician

You will report to the ROV Technical Manager.

You role is to assist on field the ROV Technical Manager, to ensure the proper functioning of ROV’s and to follow and maintain the budget allocated to ROV Maintenance Services.

The role is ideally based in Sète Office in South of France with regular travel to DeepOcean Africa worksites.

Key Tasks

Anticipate, plan and carry out maintenance visits on ROV fleet devices

Provide help on field (onshore or offshore) when needed

Use the manuals of the manufacturers and contact them if needed

Prepare technical intervention sheets and reports

Seeks feedbacks from the field, on ROV daily use and concerns.

Assist with Technical tenders when required.

Carry out internal system Audits (IMCA R006)

Develop working relationships with all staff and contractors.

Build and Maintain a working relationship with all Project Clients.

At all times comply with Regulatory requirements and Company Safety Policy.

Key Measurables

Maintain good relationship and availability to ROV teams to assist with any technical queries – Measure, Time to respond to technical enquiries.

Ensure prompt closure of any technical issues – Measure, Time to close out technical issues.

Maintain good relationships with suppliers and ROV manufacturers.

Maintain system records.

Good technical knowledge of the fleet ROV
