Job Responsibilities
As a member of the R&D unit within the technical department of the Hydrogen Business Line, you will contribute to the development of innovative solutions aligned with product and technology roadmaps. Specifically, this role is attached to the Materials pool, where you will have a significant impact on the core technology of our alkaline electrolyzers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Investigating and optimizing specific mechanisms affecting the performance and operability of pressurized alkaline electrolyzers, with a focus on rings and seals.
- Defining testing protocols.
- Analyzing, interpreting, and summarizing testing data.
- Preparing and releasing engineering documentation.
- Contributing to the development and protection of intellectual property.
- Supervising and coaching subcontracted development programs.
- Assisting with funding proposals and working with funding agencies.
- Acting as the primary contact point with research organizations and suppliers.
- Collaborating with stack designers to ensure smooth integration of components within the stack.
Requirements and Expectations
This role requires regular presence at our site in Seraing, Belgium, for one week per month, and occasional mobility to Nantes, Metz, or Grenoble.
