YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT
We are currently experiencing a period of exciting opportunities in Europe. We are expanding our international team and have opened several positions within our EIFFAGE Infrastructure division, EIFFAGE Norge.
Eiffage Norge is the primary contractor for a significant highway project. This endeavor involves the construction of a 4-lane, 18km highway, which includes multiple bridges and twin tunnels. The project is set to continue for several years.
You will be part of a dynamic team in Norway, with potential long-term assignments in the Scandinavian region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will oversee all aspects related to the execution of Roadworks (including pavement, crash barriers, vertical signage, etc.) and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) operations throughout the project, including testing and commissioning, until the final handover to the client. You will ensure effective coordination with the technical department regarding your scope of work. In collaboration with the Health & Safety Manager, you will promote proactive cooperation on-site between safety advisors and the production team.
Reporting to the Project Director, your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the safe delivery of your scope of work within the project timeline and budget while maintaining quality standards in accordance with contractual obligations.
- Participating as a member of the project management committee.
- Collaborating with the Project Director to foster a strong safety culture on-site, promoting a genuine commitment to safety among all personnel involved in construction activities.
- Monitoring design development and ensuring appropriate coordination between designers and production teams, particularly regarding interfaces with civil works and tunneling.
- Leading the procurement process for your scope of work and liaising with the procurement manager on relevant matters.
- Defining the organizational structure of your construction team and coordinating personnel mobilization and demobilization.
- Overseeing construction activities to ensure compliance with contractual milestones.
- Managing the budget for your scope of work and collaborating with the cost controller to establish a clear monthly cost control review process.
- Defining the necessary resources for supervising Testing and Commissioning activities.
- Interfacing with the client and relevant third parties to prepare for the final project stages, including acceptance tests and handover.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in engineering.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in site engineering.
