Corporate Accountant for Consolidation Specialist

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a skilled Corporate Accountant for Consolidation to play a key role in the preparation of financial information for internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for aggregating financial data from entities, performing necessary adjustments, and ensuring data quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidated figures for ADS in line with IFRS, on time and with quality.
- Perform consolidation top entries, reconcile equity, and justify P&L and Balance Sheet top entries.
- Implement and follow up on Internal Controls at consolidation level.
- Support the preparation of Cash Flow and Deferred Taxes.
- Assist entities in ensuring timely and high-quality data submission.
- Organize and improve the closing process in coordination with consolidated entities.
- Ensure consistent application of IFRS accounting regulations and methods.
- Support Balance Sheet review of ADS and consolidated entities, focusing on Balance Sheet exposure.
- Collaborate with the central team on complex contracts.
- Coordinate deliverables with different entities and subsidiaries.
- Maintain close relationships with Group stakeholders, including reporting, treasury, and tax.
- Prepare training for the accounting community.
- Support M&A activities for the ADS perimeter and other projects impacting ADS consolidation.
- Knowledge of financials, accounting, and consolidation processes.
- Solid accounting background and/or education, preferably in international accounting standards.
- Knowledge of compliance risks, mainly financial ones.
- Commitment to act with integrity to ensure company success and maintain its reputation.
- Interpersonal skills: active listening, team spirit, and a 'can-do' attitude.
- International mindset; experience abroad is a plus.
- Five to ten years of working experience in an accounting department of an international enterprise or at an audit firm.
- Sound experience in group consolidation in an international context, including deferred taxes, cash flow statements, and preparation of notes disclosure.
- Profound knowledge in IFRS.
- Experienced user in SAP SEM BCS or another consolidation tool.
- Good understanding of financial internal control standards.
- Knowledge in international taxation and Treasury Accounting is a plus.
- Capacity to work with multiple stakeholders from different cultural backgrounds.
- Fluent in English; additional languages such as German or French are a plus.
This role requires an awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation, and sustainable growth. This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
