Our division is seeking an Intern for Hydrogen Storage Systems Testing at our R&D Center. This center is dedicated to developing pioneering solutions for sustainable and clean transportation, serving as Forvia's global hub of expertise in hydrogen storage technologies.

The primary objective of this internship is to design new testing apparatus to internalize innovative testing methodologies.

You will tackle significant challenges

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting equipment specifications in accordance with international hydrogen regulations for 'surface damage' and 'chemical exposure' testing protocols.
  • Collaborating with suppliers to identify the optimal solutions considering technical, financial, and scheduling factors.
  • Setting up and validating testing methodologies.
  • Training the local testing team on the established testing protocols.
  • Documenting and refining testing procedures utilized by FORVIA teams globally and by external partners.

  • The ideal candidate is pursuing an engineering or master's degree with a focus on Quality.
  • Final year of engineering school or Master 2.
  • Specialization in Mechatronics or a related field.
  • General understanding of physical and hydraulic principles (pressure, temperature, force, etc.) and familiarity with CAD is advantageous.
