Ingenico Group, a global leader in payments acceptance solutions, is seeking a skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team. As a trusted technology partner for merchants, banks, and other customers, we enable the global ecosystem of payments acceptance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with subcontractors involved in terminal production, personalization, and repair. This includes deploying the strategy defined by Operations, negotiating prices, and proactively improving the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage top-level relationships with subcontractors and factories
- Establish corporate agreements with subcontractors and factories
- Deploy the Operations strategy in cooperation with NPI, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance
- Manage RFQ from tender to contractualization
- Negotiate pricing, T&Cs, and value-added services
- Own the deployment of T&Cs for components negotiated
- Analyze supply markets to identify potential partners and market trends
- Manage repair and customization suppliers
Requirements:
- Negotiation skills to secure favorable prices and terms
- Excellent communication skills and experience creating, reviewing, and red-lining contracts
- Experience in interfacing with other departments in a collaborative environment
- Organized, with strong follow-up and multitasking skills
- Problem-solving skills and ability to recommend out-of-the-box solutions
- Knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes is a plus
- Be rigorous and result-oriented, with a team player attitude
Languages:
- Fluent English, both speaking and writing
Education Qualifications/Experience Requirements:
- Master's degree with a strong technical background is preferred
- Experience in purchasing, RFQ, price, incoterms, and contract negotiations
- Proven experience in electronic manufacturing with low-cost markets
Computer/IT Skills:
- Good IT skills, including experience with Office packages and strong knowledge of Excel spreadsheets
- SAP experience is a plus
