SABENA TECHNICS BGC - Aircraft Support & Operations is seeking a highly skilled Senior Aircraft Modification Cabin Safety Certification Engineer to join our team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a talented engineer to lead the certification process for aircraft modifications, focusing on cabin safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in the design of aircraft modifications and verify compliance with certification requirements.
- Define certification basis and evaluate Airworthiness Directives applicability for each modification.
- Develop and implement certification plans, including equipment qualification and testing activities.
- Elaborate and author certification packages, including system description documents and substantiation documents.
- Ensure follow-up of substantiation documents developed by equipment manufacturers or external providers.
- Bachelor or Master's degree in a technical discipline, preferably aerospace education.
- At least 5 years of experience in DOA as a certification engineer for aeronautical activities - Cabin safety.
- Good knowledge of aircraft environment and architecture, avionics systems, and equipment qualification processes.
- Awareness of regulation and certification processes with non-EASA authorities.
- Proficiency in English (professional level) and French is a plus.
