We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Bid Manager to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our tender management team, you will be responsible for leading the development of winning proposals and ensuring that our clients receive compelling, competitive, and comprehensive bids.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Tender Quality Costs Delivery Performance (QCDP) commitment for medium or highly critical bids
- Coordinate internal activities to identify and understand Customer's needs
- Promote the Company and its product
- Ensure compliance with applicable Alstom rules & instructions
- Work in close relationship with Tender Leader and the full tender team
- Manage the budget according to Tender Costs Authorization Process
- Manage the tender team
- Define the bid operational strategy
- Propose the offered solution
- Manage QCD optimization and obtain clear commitments from different actors
- Prepare risks & opportunities reviews
- Prepare the documentation necessary to submit to Customer
- Keep records of all documentation produced for tender preparation
- Participate to the contract negotiations
- Verify feasibility of evolutions requested versus the offered and approved reference
- Update QCD data and obtain revised QCD commitments from different units
- Ensure that all Customer questions have been answered, in line with commercial strategy
- Review of the final contract documents before contract signature
- Contribute to Return of Experience (REX) through the Win-Loss Analysis
- Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- Relevant experience in Project/Bid Management background (costing, planning & risk management)
- Knowledge of tender processes and bid management in a complex technical environment
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations relevant to the rail sector
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams to meet tight deadlines
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, fluent in English, proficient level in French
- Proven track record of developing winning proposals with a keen eye for detail and customer oriented
