Job Title: Sales Representative

At New Balance, we're looking for a talented Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with accounts in your territory, maximizing sales targets, and assisting accounts in growing their business with New Balance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with accounts in your territory
  • Maximize sales targets and achieve or exceed all footwear and apparel sales targets
  • Operate within our AM minimum standards and deliver professional customer-focused sales standards
  • Analyze sales and margin performance versus targets and take appropriate action to remedy any gaps
  • Work closely with marketing contacts to ensure effective co-op marketing activity with targeted strategic accounts
  • Obtain weekly sell-through data from accounts and act on the data provided
  • Develop action plans to achieve monthly order book conversion and annual targets
  • Manage inventory and ASAP replenishment
  • Provide structured customer/account feedback on our product and competitor product innovations to the Sales Manager and Product team
  • Communicate effectively to accounts about New Balance's beliefs, values, objectives, and policies
Requirements for Success:
  • Full, clean driving license
  • Account management experience
  • Sales forecasting and planning skills with numerical reasoning and analytical ability
  • Good knowledge of and passion for the sports and lifestyle market
  • Good negotiation, influencing, and communication skills
  • Driven to achieve targets
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Analytical skills
  • High affinity to the brand
  • Ability to fulfill high levels of travel (weekly field presence over 20 departments)
  • Team player
