Sales Development Representative

At New Balance, we're looking for a talented Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with accounts in your territory, maximizing sales targets, and assisting accounts in growing their business with New Balance.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong relationships with accounts in your territory
- Maximize sales targets and achieve or exceed all footwear and apparel sales targets
- Operate within our AM minimum standards and deliver professional customer-focused sales standards
- Analyze sales and margin performance versus targets and take appropriate action to remedy any gaps
- Work closely with marketing contacts to ensure effective co-op marketing activity with targeted strategic accounts
- Obtain weekly sell-through data from accounts and act on the data provided
- Develop action plans to achieve monthly order book conversion and annual targets
- Manage inventory and ASAP replenishment
- Provide structured customer/account feedback on our product and competitor product innovations to the Sales Manager and Product team
- Communicate effectively to accounts about New Balance's beliefs, values, objectives, and policies
- Full, clean driving license
- Account management experience
- Sales forecasting and planning skills with numerical reasoning and analytical ability
- Good knowledge of and passion for the sports and lifestyle market
- Good negotiation, influencing, and communication skills
- Driven to achieve targets
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Analytical skills
- High affinity to the brand
- Ability to fulfill high levels of travel (weekly field presence over 20 departments)
