Position Overview:
The Finance & Accounting division for Europe North Africa is seeking a dedicated statutory and IFRS accounting supervisor to lead our teams responsible for the French entities. Our current structure is diverse, comprising individuals with expertise in our accounting systems and regulatory requirements. We aim to enhance this with a leader who possesses a comprehensive understanding of our obligations and a more integrated approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Transversal Management:
• Oversee daily operations of finance personnel (9/10 team members)
• Supervise the activities of designated Shared Services team members (French scope)
• Liaise with external parties (auditors, tax authorities, etc.)
• Manage escalation processes and resolve intricate issues and inquiries
• Track KPIs and SLAs for all services within your jurisdiction and implement action plans
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives to achieve efficiency gains
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies across various countries.

Financial Reporting and General Ledger:
• Guarantee precise and timely submission of country reports (Entities in the scope)
• Review complex accruals, journal entries, GL accounts, and fixed asset requests, establishing calculation rules
• Participate in pre and post-close meetings
• Evaluate financial reports and approvals (local and IFRS regulations), including consolidation reporting
• Collaborate with management and corporate departments (Tax, legal, accounting, and consolidation)
• Manage local social and tax obligations
• Oversee income tax management (Income tax & tax proof)
• Review intercompany processes.

Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable:
• Ensure accurate contract analysis and setup for proper invoicing
• Review AR and AP processes (booking and balance analysis)
• Approve payments during AP sessions and enhance AR cash collection.

Financial Planning & Analysis:
• Collaborate with country finance teams to provide insights that support the analysis of country performance and facilitate decision-making.

Projects & Audits:
• Coordinate and enhance IT tools and finance processes
• Maintain internal documentation for processes and controls.

Qualifications:
Your qualifications and skills include:
• Chartered accountant with a minimum of 5-7 years of post-graduation experience
• Strong organizational skills with effective time management
• Autonomous with the ability to make informed decisions
• Proven success in team leadership roles
• Proficient in analysis and summarization
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Adaptable in managing unique challenges, projects, and assignments.

Language Proficiency:
• Fluent in French and English is essential.
Technical Skills:
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or CTU (Cegid), and proficiency in Office tools.
