About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Development Manager to join our team at Volvo. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in the 3PL and Retailer sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate customer leads and build a portfolio of recurring clients
- Contribute to the development and execution of Volvo's commercial strategy in your area of responsibility and customers' portfolio
- In coordination with the sales team, build a project sales approach specific to each customer's needs
- Understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions to meet their requirements
- Develop and execute complete solutions, driving their implementation and follow-up
- Promote long-term partnerships with customers, strengthening Volvo's position as a best-in-class business partner
Requirements:
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage customer relationships in complex environments
- Customer obsession with a holistic view to build trust
- High communication and listening skills
- Engagement in sustainability transition, with a focus on environmental, health, and safety
- Strong team spirit and ability to work cross-functionally in project mode
- Fluent English and French
- Agile and eager to learn and share
- Knowledge of LCV and last-mile delivery applications would be a plus
- Background in e-mobility would be a plus
