Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance operations at an oil and gas production facility. This is a challenging and rewarding role that offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the success of a global organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and execute all maintenance activities in accordance with industry best practices and company standards.
- Supervise and coordinate a team of technicians to ensure efficient and effective completion of maintenance tasks.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential safety hazards and areas for improvement.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely procurement of necessary materials.
- Prepare detailed reports on maintenance activities, including costs, timeframes, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and operations, to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a proven track record in maintenance management.
- Strong understanding of industrial equipment and systems, including rotating machinery, process piping, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using computer-aided maintenance management (CMMS) software.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
