Job Summary

The Electrical & Automation Engineer will be a key member of the Center of Expertise team, supporting industrial project managers in leading the electrical & automation engineering part of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and industrial automation systems, with experience in managing automation and electrical engineering activities in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Define electrical & automation design of projects under the responsibility of the project manager
  • Help the project manager establish the project cost estimate for the electrical and automation part
  • Ensure design is compliant with Imerys standards, safety protocols, local regulations and local requirements/constraints
  • Manage project execution, follow on site works, lead reviews, Factory and Site Acceptance Tests
  • Lead commissioning phases of the electrical and automation part together with local teams

Requirements:
  • Electrical engineering background
  • High knowledge in Industrial automation systems - 4.0 skills would be a plus
  • High knowledge in electrical codes and standards
  • Project management skills
  • Comfortable in a multinational environment
