About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Director to join our team at Four Seasons Megève. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping team, ensuring that our guests receive the highest level of service and that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping team, including staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure that all housekeeping areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas, are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Develop and implement effective housekeeping procedures and protocols to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front office and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that housekeeping standards are being met and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage and control housekeeping budgets and resources to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel or resort.
- Proven track record of success in managing and leading a housekeeping team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
