Job Summary
The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) is seeking a highly skilled Research Analyst to join its Director General's Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing communications and outreach materials for the Director General, as well as conducting analyses related to food security, nutrition, and sustainable development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare presentations, speeches, blog posts, and social media posts on key development outcomes.
- Research and analyze topics related to food security, nutrition, poverty alleviation, and environmental sustainability.
- Draft research papers, reports, policy briefs, and journal articles.
- Conduct literature reviews and syntheses.
- Help coordinate committee meetings and manage databases.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, plus two years of experience, or a Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Strong analytical and writing skills, with the ability to translate technical materials for lay audiences.
- Excellent visual presentation skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
