Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
ENGIE is a leader in energy solutions, and we are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on the analysis and evaluation of mechanical systems, ensuring their reliability and efficiency. The successful candidate will engage in a variety of projects, including the assessment of mechanical components and the execution of feasibility studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed analytical assessments to guarantee the structural reliability of mechanical components under diverse operational conditions.
- Conduct feasibility analyses for the enhancement or replacement of existing equipment.
- Draft comprehensive technical specifications for project stakeholders.
- Oversee the execution of engineering studies throughout project lifecycles.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and define the scope of engineering studies.
- Prepare detailed engineering documentation and justifications for mechanical components.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on structural analysis.
- Proficient in Finite Element Analysis and mechanical evaluation techniques.
- Capable of predicting the structural performance of components under both static and dynamic conditions.
- Excellent communication skills in French.
- A collaborative team member with flexibility and adaptability.
- Knowledge of international engineering standards and regulations.
- Experience in nuclear engineering contexts is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the EDF-DIPDE framework is beneficial.
- A strong aspiration to develop into a leading expert in mechanical engineering.
