About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Stress Leader Airframe/Equipment Integration Specialist to join our team at Airbus Helicopters SAS. As a key member of our airframe stress department, you will be responsible for managing specific contracts, customization of Super Puma, and equipment installations.

As a Stress Leader, you will work with autonomy on various activities, including management of specific contracts, customization of Super Puma, equipment installations, compliance versus new aeronautical rules, and general improvement of Super Puma. You will be close to project teams, airworthiness, design, including subcontracting and the rest of the stress team.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Manage specific contracts, customization of Super Puma, and equipment installations
  • Work with autonomy on various activities, including management of specific contracts, customization of Super Puma, equipment installations, compliance versus new aeronautical rules, and general improvement of Super Puma
  • Be close to project teams, airworthiness, design, including subcontracting and the rest of the stress team
  • Discover the main structural components of a helicopter, including primary and secondary structures, and major equipment
  • Perform stress activities, including definition of loads, analytical and numerical calculations, and follow-up of mechanical tests
Your Profile

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Stress Leader Airframe/Equipment Integration Specialist with a strong background in mechanical engineering or related discipline. You should have at least five years of experience in engineering, with a focus on static structural analysis, composite and metallic materials, and failure analysis.

You should also have advanced level of French and English language skills, and be able to work in a team environment with a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
