Key Responsibilities
This position, based in France, involves managing inquiries related to data elements from both internal and external clients within the Beauty sector. Responsibilities include addressing, investigating, and resolving data-related issues, as well as collaborating with various teams to ensure effective resolutions. The Operations Client Service team fosters and maintains direct relationships with external clients to facilitate efficient communication and serves as an internal liaison to Operations.
External Responsibilities:
- Cultivate strong, trusted, and ongoing relationships with clients in the Beauty sector across France, the UK, and internationally, becoming their primary contact for data inquiries, operational activities, methodologies, and category enhancements.
- Address, troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate data quality issues, resolutions, and optimizations.
- Provide training to clients on Circana's solutions, processes, and analytical tools.
- Prepare clear written and verbal communications that convey issues, findings, resolutions, and impacts to external stakeholders.
- Proactively inform clients about data changes resulting from upgrades or launches prior to data release.
- Maintain an understanding of key industry categories to enhance client interactions.
- Collect feedback and represent client needs for enhancements during internal discussions.
- Attend client meetings as required.
Internal Responsibilities:
- Develop trusted relationships with Practice leads, Commercial teams, Operations, and Product.
- Effectively collaborate with other Operations Client Service team members, Operations, Commercial, Product, Research Science, and other support groups to ensure inquiries are resolved and communicated effectively.
- Monitor and identify trends in client inquiries that may influence process improvements.
- Maintain thorough and effective communication with the Commercial team regarding client interactions, both reactive and proactive.
- Acquire a comprehensive understanding of Circana processes to support the investigation and articulation of inquiries.
- Assist senior management in establishing strategies and direction for the department.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Expert in Consumer Data Content, Data Quality Analysis, or Operations Client Service Analyst within the retail, beauty sector, and consumer data fields.
- Proficient in both French and English (spoken and written).
- Strong management capabilities.
- Experience in client communication at all levels.
- Solid technical skills in market research data.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams, monitor workflows, and ensure follow-through.
- Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, v-look up, and basic calculations). Advanced Excel skills are strongly preferred.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
