The Product Operations Manager possesses a comprehensive perspective on all offerings within the remote asset product line for the Europe Hub. This role is pivotal for the operational oversight of IoT products and the Bulk Supply Chain product family, aligning with business requirements (ALTO). The individual will lead, strategize, direct, and oversee all facets related to Product Delivery and Technical Operations. Reporting to the product line director, this position is integral to the management team of the product line and involves functional oversight of the product expert team on operational matters, collaborating closely with the customer services team for incident resolution.
Key interactions will be with Product Managers, Product teams, and Customer Services to fulfill the following objectives:
1. Service Management- Oversee and manage performance KPIs for services in collaboration with Customer Services.
- Act as the escalation point for critical issues and decisions across all Service Management areas.
- Present service performance metrics in a clear, actionable manner that adds value to the Service Manager.
- Assist in Service Reviews coordinated by the Business Unit with Local Digital Solution Owners and the Business Information Systems.
- The Product Operations Manager is accountable for daily product operations and performance metrics.
- This role is the local authority for the Service Level Agreement.
- Responsible for incident and request management, ensuring resolution and continuous improvement.
- Suggest enhancements to the product based on customer insights for inclusion in the roadmap.
- Oversee change management during product releases and deployments.
- Ensure all risks to capacity and availability are identified and managed effectively.
- Provide visibility and planning for changes.
Are you a MATCH?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, information technology, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in IT product development and operations.
- Strong grasp of IT Services, IT Security, and Service Management principles.
- Solid understanding of Supply Chain Management principles.
- Proficient in Configuration Management, Deployment tools, and scripting languages.
- Familiarity with Software Technologies and Architecture.
- Experience in building and maintaining cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services.
- Knowledge of IoT platforms and M2M / IoT communications (e.g., Sigfox, LoRA, NBIoT) is advantageous.
- Understanding of web services and API-REST.
- Familiarity with Industrial IT environments, including networks, servers, and embedded electronics, is a plus.
- Excellent command of English (minimum C1 level) is essential.
- Proficiency in French is an advantage.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, networking, and persuasion skills.
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment with a problem-solving mindset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication to various audiences, particularly in customer-facing situations.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
