RTR Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled RTR Accountant to join our team at Dassault Systèmes. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing financial reporting and accounting support to our Asia-based businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Support general ledger accounting activities, including journal preparation and account reconciliations for Asia-based businesses.
• Process accounting data for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and financial reporting to local country and HQ.
• Ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of accounting records and control journal entries in compliance with internal controls, company policies, IFRS, and statutory accounting principles.
• Support audit processes within the department, including preparation and review for statutory, internal, and other audit purposes; liaise with internal and external auditors.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance submissions for legal entities; engage with Tax accountant, local finance, Geo Tax team, and Tax consultant.
• Manage and accomplish continuous improvement projects or ad-hoc tasks as assigned within agreed timelines; work independently or in a team as required.

Requirements

• Suitably tertiary qualified in accounting, with a degree or professional accounting certification.
• At least 5-7 years of working experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Working knowledge and experience of using ERP systems is critical, and experience with ERP implementations is highly advantageous.
• Highly self-motivated with strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy, and good communication skills.
• Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of other languages (Japanese, Korean) is a plus.
