Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our client, a major player in the Energy sector, based in Courbevoie (92). As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, as well as providing strategic financial guidance to the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the monthly closing process, preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage and justify general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns and other regulatory filings
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Ensure compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and related regulations
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a large group or accounting firm
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Excel and other financial software, including JD Edwards or SAP
